1.6.44. Launch of the engine from the external accumulator
Never try to launch the engine from the external accumulator if you suspect that the accumulator was chilled. In such state it at a zavodka can blow up or become useless.
Connecting wires, you watch that hands and wires did not get to pulleys, belts or the fan. The hydrogen which is emitted from the accumulator is very flammable. In order to avoid explosion do not allow sparking or use of naked flame near the rechargeable battery. You do not smoke in close proximity to the battery.
If the external accumulator on other car, be convinced that cars do not adjoin. If the accumulator continues to be discharged without the visible reasons, address the dealer of Suzuki. In order to avoid injuries or damage of the car/accumulator strictly conform to the rules of start from the external accumulator. If you doubt yourself, cause road service.
The car cannot be launched pushing or towage. It can damage the catalyst in the catalytic converter. Start the engine at the discharged or weak accumulator by means of the external accumulator.
Start of the engine
Use only the 12-volt external accumulator. Bring closer it to your car so that connecting wires reliably got both accumulators. If the accumulator on other car, do not allow contact of cars. Turn on parking brakes on both cars. Switch off all electroconsumers of cars, except for necessary from the point of view of safety (headlights or the alarm system).
Connect one end of the first wire with positive "+" the discharged battery 1, its other end with positive "+" the external battery 2, one end of the second wire to minus "-" the external battery 2.

Make final connection to a massive unpainted part of the car with the discharged accumulator 1 for example, to an eye 3 for raising of the engine (fig. 1.254)
If the external battery on other car, launch its engine and let's it work at moderate turns.
Launch the car engine with the discharged battery.
Remove auxiliary wires in the return to sequence connection.
