4.2.5. Removal and installation of the tire

For removal and installation of tires use the tire machine.

Follow instructions of the manufacturer of the equipment. Do not use only hand tools for replacement of tires as they can damage a rim of a disk or a board of the tire.

The seat of a rim of a disk has to be cleared by a wire brush or a rough steel bast for removal of lubricant, old rubber and a rust. Before installation or dismounting of the tire the seat of a rim of a disk needs to be greased well with lubricant for tires.

After installation, lift pressure in the tire so that boards of the tire reached the correct position on a disk.

ATTENTION Do not bend over the tire when inflating. The board of the tire can collapse at pass through the fixing ledge of a rim and to become the trauma reason. Do not exceed the set pressure when inflating the tire. If with the set pressure of a board of the tire did not reach the correct position on a disk, pit air, repeatedly apply lubricant and again give air to the tire. Excess of the set pressure can cause destruction of a board of the tire and to become the trauma reason.

Establish a zolotnik and normalize pressure in the tire.

At the market there is a large number of various methods and materials for repair of tires. As not all from them are suitable for tires of a certain type, producers of tires issue detailed instructions on repair of tires.
