7.1.4. Adjustment of light bunches of headlights with use of the screen

If other is not provided by the local legislation, adjust light bunches of headlights as follows.

After replacement of a headlight adjust the direction of light bunches (fig. 7.6). Install the car on a plain horizontal surface before a wall (screen 1).
Distance of "a": 10 m.
Bring air pressure in tires to norm.
To Prozhmita a car body several times for stabilization of a suspension bracket.
When performing adjustment the driver has to be in the car.
Driver's weight: 75 kg.
Check an arrangement of light spots of passing beam, it has to correspond shown in the figure 7.6. Distance of "H": about 130 mm.
Adjust a light bunch of a headlight the adjusting screw.
