7.3.4. Removal and installation of the switch of a cleaner and washer of a windshieldRemoval
Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.
Remove a cap of a steering column 1.
Uncover a steering column 2.

Then turn a steering wheel to unscrew back screws of covers of a steering column (fig. 7.7).

Remove the switch of a cleaner and washer of a windshield 1 from the combined switch 2 and to disconnect its socket 3 (fig. 7.50).
Installation
Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal.

Switch of a cleaner and washer of a windshield (fig. 7.51). Check integrity of a chain between conclusions at each position of the switch. If result of check negative, replace the switch.

Install the switch of screenwash in the provision of "INT" (fig. 7.52). Connect a positive conclusion of the rechargeable battery to a conclusion of "B3", and a negative conclusion to a conclusion of "EW".
Connect a positive wire of the voltmeter to a conclusion of "L", and a negative wire to a conclusion of "EW".
The voltmeter has to show tension of the rechargeable battery (10–14 V).
Connect conclusions of "AS" and "B3" to 5 pages or more crossing point.
Disconnect a crossing point from a conclusion of "B3".
Connect the disconnected end of a crossing point to a conclusion of "EW", then make sure that tension between conclusions of "L" and "EW" changes as it is specified.
If result of check not satisfactory, replace the switch.

Make sure that the switch of a forward screen wiper is in situation "Is switched off" (fig. 7.53). Connect a positive conclusion of the rechargeable battery to a conclusion of "B3", and a negative conclusion to a conclusion of "EW".
Connect a positive wire of the voltmeter to a conclusion of "L", and a negative wire to a conclusion of "EW".
When the switch of a forward washer is in situation "Is included", check tension izameneniye, as shown in the drawing.
If result of check not satisfactory, replace the switch.
