7.2.1. Removal and installation of the switch of ignition

Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.

Make sure that the key is not inserted into the ignition lock.

Remove a cap of a steering column 1.

Uncover a steering column 2. Then turn a steering wheel to unscrew screws of 3 covers of a steering column (fig. 7.7.).

Disconnect sockets from the switch of ignition of 1 (fig. 7.23).

Remove the switch of ignition 1 from the cylinder of the lock 2 (fig. 7.23).

Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal.

Check integrity of a chain between conclusions at each position of the switch (fig. 7.24). If result of check negative, replace the switch.
