3.4.9. Removal and installation of the driveshaftRemoval
Lift the car.
Before removal of the driveshaft make adjusting tags 2 on a flange and the driveshaft, as shown.

Separate the driveshaft No. 2 (3) from a flange of back differential (fig. 3.161). Separate the driveshaft No. 1 (1) from an output flange of the transfer case (fig. 3.161).

Remove arms of the central support of the driveshaft 4 from a body of the car (fig. 3.162).

ATTENTION
The arm and No. 1 and No. 2 of a shaft are removed together without division.
You watch to dropping arms.

Installation
Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal, except for the following.
At installation of the driveshaft, combine adjusting tags 2. Otherwise, at the movement vibration (fig. 3.163) will appear. Tighten bolts and a nut the moments provided below.
Inhaling moment
Bolt of the driveshaft No. 1 (a): 23 N · m.
Bolt of the driveshaft No. 2 (b): 23 N · m.
Central bolt of fastening (c): 23 N · m.
Nut of the central support (d): 50 N · m.
