8.1.2. Check and adjustment of a cowlCheck
Check ease of opening and closing of a cowl. Grease in case of need.
Check action of a hook of the cowl (interfering opening of a cowl at the movement of the car) and reliability of operation of the lock of a cowl.
Adjust position of the lock of a cowl if necessary.
Adjustment in the longitudinal and cross directions
Adjust the provision of a cowl in an aperture weakening of bolts of fastening of a cowl.
Vertical adjustment
If one party (right or left) a cowl is not flush with a forward wing, level it turning or unscrewing buffers of a cowl of 1 (fig. 8.2).

At installation of the lock of a cowl 1 move a bolt to the most top situation and move it in the vertical direction in the course of adjustment, the cowl has to be locked and open reliably with normal effort (fig. 8.3). Moment of an inhaling of bolts of the lock of a cowl (a): 10 N · m.
