Preparation for check and adjustment of a convergence
Install the car in not loaded state on a horizontal surface.
Establish a steering wheel in the situation corresponding to the rectilinear movement.
Check pressure in tires and if necessary bring to norm, check a condition of disks.
Check a condition of elements of a suspension bracket, they should not have damages, deformation, considerable wear.
Check the size of a road gleam at the left and on the right.

NOTE
To prevent possible wrong measurement of a convergence, disorder or tilt angle of a longitudinal axis of turn of a wheel, before check it is necessary to move several times up and down forward and back parts of the car.

Measure a convergence by a template for measurement of a convergence of wheels of 1 (fig. 4.74).
The convergence has to be in the following limits.
Convergence: 6,2 +2 mm.
If the convergence does not meet standard, adjust.

Adjustment
Weaken internal nuts of 1 right and left cross levers.

Adjust a convergence rotating the right and left internal bolts of the cross lever (cam bolts of a fist) 2 on the same corner (fig. 4.75).
After adjustment, tighten the right and left nuts the nominal force of an inhaling, holding bolts from a provorachivaniye a wrench.
Moment of an inhaling of an internal nut of the cross lever No. 2 (back party) (a): 90 N · m.

Extreme value of side withdrawal
When checking by a tester of side withdrawal, side withdrawal has to satisfy to the following characteristics.
Extreme value of side withdrawal: 7,0–10,0 mm/m.
If side withdrawal exceeds extreme value, the size of a convergence or the angles of installation of wheels cannot meet standard.
