1.5.4. Diagonal and zone belt

The seat belt has system of emergency blocking (Аб) which design provided fixing of a belt only in case of a sudden stop or accident. Fixing can happen also at very bystry pulling of a belt from the coil. If it happened, release a belt a little, and then stretch it through a breast more slowly.

Back side places are equipped with belts, to coils of Ab which function of automatic fixing (Аф) of a belt can temporarily be given. This function has to join only when fastening a children's seat of safety.

Not to slip out from under a belt at collision, arrange a nabedrenny part of a belt as low as possible and tighten a belt before ensuring the convenient tightened landing, sipping a diagonal part it up through a buckle eye. Length of a diagonal part of a belt will self-regulate, providing freedom of movement.

Being fastened by a belt, you sit directly, having completely leaned back on a seatback. Stretch a belt with a buckle uvula obliquely through a breast and implant a uvula into the lock before characteristic click.

For an otstyogivaniye of a belt press the red button on the lock of a buckle and let's a belt be involved in bobbin knot (fig. 1.133).

On the average place of a back seat there can be a seat belt of one of the following types:

– nabedrenny;

– diagonal and zone with the trailer socket for "sedan";

– diagonal and zone with the trailer socket for "hatch-back".

You sit directly, deeply in a seat. Stretch a belt buckle uvula through hips, implant a uvula into the lock before characteristic click. to reduce risk of a vyskalzyvaniye from under a belt at collision, arrange a belt as low as possible on hips and otregul to its ruyta so that it adjoined conveniently, but it is dense.

To tighten a belt, pull the free end it from a buckle along a nabedrenny strap.

To weaken a belt, undo it and pull a buckle in the direction of an arrow, holding it at right angle to a belt. Then implant a buckle uvula back into the lock, and, if necessary, tighten a belt as it was described above.

NOTE Not to be mistaken when fastening an average belt, on a uvula and the lock of its buckle the word "CENTER" ('middle') is put. Besides, locks of buckles accept only "the" uvulas (fig. 1.135).

The average diagonal and zone belt of "sedan" has, except the lock and a uvula of a buckle, also the trailer socket ("the second buckle"). Unlike the seat belt lock for the left passenger, the inscription "CENTER" ("middle") has the lock of an average belt. The lock on a design does not accept "others" uvulas.

When a back of a back seat in normal situation, do not separate the trailer socket of a belt (the lower left arrow in the drawing).

Before fastening of an average diagonal and zone belt of "sedan" be convinced that the trailer socket 1 holds and the belt is not overwound. Buttoning a belt, you sit directly, having completely leaned back on a seatback. Stretch a belt with a uvula of a buckle (A) obliquely through a breast and implant a uvula into the lock (V) before characteristic click.

The average diagonal and zone belt of "hatch-back" has, except the lock and a uvula of a buckle, also the trailer socket ("the second buckle"). Unlike the seat belt lock for the left passenger, the inscription "CENTER" ("middle") has the lock of an average belt. The lock on a design does not accept "others" uvulas. There is also directing bracket through which the belt has to be carried out.

Before fastening of an average diagonal and zone belt of "hatch-back" be convinced, that the belt is passed through the directing bracket 2 that the trailer socket 1 holds and that the belt is not overwound.

Buttoning a belt, you sit directly, having completely leaned back on a seatback. Stretch a belt with a uvula of a buckle (A) obliquely through a breast and implant a uvula into the lock (V) before characteristic click.

Adjust fastening height so that the diagonal belt passed precisely on the middle of an external shoulder. For adjustment move fastening up-down at the extended clamp button. Upon termination of adjustment be convinced that fastening is reliably recorded

Make sure that a diagonal part of a belt passes through the middle of an external shoulder – without falling down from it, but also without touching a neck or the person. The wrong adjustment of a belt reduces its efficiency in case of accident.
