3.1.8. Dismantling and assembly of the working cylinder of coupling
|
Fig. 3.19. Details of the working cylinder of coupling: 1 – protective cover; 2 – pusher; 3 – piston assembled; 4 – returnable spring; 5 – cylinder; 6 – the union for removal of air
|
Dismantling
Remove a cover and a pusher.
Take out the piston 2 giving compressed air to an opening under a bolt of 1 fastening of a hose, you watch that the piston did not jump out (fig. 3.20).
Assembly
NOTE
Before installation, wash up all details in brake fluid.
|
Apply brake fluid on the piston in collecting and on cylinder walls.
Install the piston assembled 1 in the cylinder. At installation you watch to damaging a ledge of a cuff of the piston 2 (fig. 3.21).
Establish a cover and a pusher.
Check of the working cylinder of coupling
Check all removed details for wear or existence of damages and replace if necessary.
NOTE
Wash up all details in brake fluid.
Do not reuse the piston assembled.
|
Check cylinder walls for existence of scratches or corrosion.
Replace the cylinder treated to corrosion action. Corrosion can be identified on poles or an excessive roughness.
NOTE
Polishing of walls of the cylinder with the aluminum case abrasive materials and the tool as it is possible to damage walls is not allowed.
|
Wash out the cylinder in pure brake fluid. Shake the liquid remains after rinsing. Do not use fabric for removal of the remains of liquid as fibers of fabric can remain in the cylinder.
