1.3.1. Precautionary and control lamps

Depending on execution of the car the lamp lights up at turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON" or "START" (for check of serviceability of a bulb) and at an inclusiveness of the parking brake if the ignition key is in the provision of "ON" or "START".

The lamp lights up also when the level of brake fluid in a tank falls below the minimum level. The lamp has to go out after start of the engine and a full otpuskaniye of the parking brake if the level of brake fluid is not lower than minimum. The lamp lights up also along with the ABS system indicator at failure of the regulator of force of braking of back brakes. If the indicator of brakes lit up during the movement, in the brake system there can be a malfunction. In this case move down from the carriageway and carefully stop.

ATTENTION Consider that the brake way can be longer usual, perhaps it is necessary to press stronger a pedal, the pedal can fail further usual.

Check brakes, having moved carefully and braking on a roadside. If brakes appear as it should be, address in the next workshop, moving at a small speed, or call the tow truck for delivery of the car in the next workshop.

Immediately address the representative of Suzuki for check of the brake system if: the indicator of brakes will not go out after start of the engine and full switching off of the parking brake.

NOTE Disk brakes – self-regulating therefore the level of brake fluid in process of wear of brake shoes will go down. Dolivka of liquid in a tank – usual operation of periodic maintenance.

After turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON" the indicator lights up for a moment, showing that the lamp is whole. If the indicator does not die away or lights up during the movement, in the ABS system there can be a malfunction. If it happened, it is necessary to move down from the carriageway and to carefully stop, turn the ignition key in the provision of "LOCK" and again to launch the engine.

If the lamp lights up for a short time and dies away, system as it should be. If the lamp continues to burn, in system there can be a malfunction. If this indicator and the indicator of the brake system do not die away or light up at the same time during the movement, your ABS system has the regulator of force of braking of back brakes and any malfunction can be as in system of regulation of effort of back brakes, and in system, предот rotating blocking of wheels. If there was something from told, address the dealer of Suzuki for check of brakes. If the ABS system failed, brakes work as usual (without ABS).

Lights up at turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON" and dies away after start of the engine. The indicator burns with an insufficient pressure of oil in system. If it lit up during the movement, immediately move down after the journey and kill the engine. Check oil level, if necessary add. The car is equipped with system of neutralization of the fulfilled gases with processor management. The indicator of malfunction shows when the system has to be served technically. It lights up also at installation of the ignition key in the provision of "ON" or "START") and dies away after start of the engine. If the indicator lights up at the working engine, in system of neutralization of exhaust gases there can be a malfunction. Address the dealer of Suzuki for her elimination.

ATTENTION Continuing the movement after fire of the indicator of malfunction, it is possible to put damages to system of neutralization of an exhaust; it can affect fuel consumption and acceleration performance of the car also.

After turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON" the indicator lights up for a moment, showing that the lamp is whole. If the lamp blinks at the ignition key in the provision of "ON", malfunction in system of an immobilizer is possible. Ask for the help experts of Suzuki.

Burns until all doors (including a back door) are closed up to the end.

After fire of the indicator refuel immediately.

NOTE Inclusion of an indicator lamp depends on road conditions (a bias, turn) and the methods of driving influencing the movement of fuel in a tank.

If the 4-speed automatic box works in the 4-speed mode (three speeds and an overdrive gear), then at installation of the ignition key in the provision of "ON" the indicator lights up for a short time, showing serviceability of a lamp. If the box is turned in 3-speed (shutdown of an overdrive gear), the indicator at the ignition key in the provision of "ON" continues to burn.
