Nests on a roof can be used for installation of a luggage carrier (fig. 1.89). Operating the top luggage carrier, strictly observe the instruction of his manufacturer, and also the instruction and caution of this section.

Be convinced of reliable installation of a luggage carrier.

For reliable fastening of various freights (skis, bicycles, etc.) use devices which can be bought from the dealer of Suzuki. Establish them correctly and reliably, according to the enclosed instructions. Have no freight directly on a roof. Freight can damage a roof.

Full loading from a luggage carrier with freight should not exceed admissible (35 kgfs). Do not allow also excess of the full mass of the car specified in table 1.2. Establish and reliably fix freight on a luggage carrier according to the instruction. The heaviest objects have to hold the lowermost position and weight of freight has to be distributed evenly. You do not transport the objects which are hanging down in front and behind further bumpers or side dimensions, and also objects limiting the review.

Fix the forward and back ends of long objects, such as boards, surfings, etc., on the forward and back ends of the car. Protect the colored surfaces of the car from wiping by fixing ropes.

Periodically check serviceability and reliability of fastening of the top luggage carrier.

Make sure that fixing nests are closed by covers if are not used.

Can lead sharp maneuvers and bad fastening of freight to separation of freight from the vehicle, it can cause injuries and damage property.

NOTE You fix freight reliably and avoid "pulling" at a trogayiya from the place, sharp turns and braking. Periodically check reliability of fastening. Voluminous, long or flat freights can negatively affect aerodynamics of the car and, for example, the wind gust can worsen controllability of the car and lead to accident. When transporting similar freights conduct the car carefully, with a reasonable speed.
