The mirror can be established by a hand in such situation that in it a back part of the car (fig. 1.67) was visible. For adjustment establish a selector 1 pad in day situation, and then, turning a mirror up, down, to the right, to the left achieve the best look.

During the movement establish a selector pad in night situation for weakening of the reflected light of headlights of the vehicles moving behind your car at night.

Regulate a mirror always at day position of the selector. Use night situation only for weakening of light of headlights of the transport moving for you. Remember that in this situation it is possible not to see some objects seen in the mirror established in day situation.

Adjust external mirrors so that in them were looked through a side part of the car (fig. 1.68).

Be attentive at assessment of distances to the objects seen in convex side mirrors. Remember that objects in such mirror seem less and distance to them more, than in a usual flat mirror.

Mirrors at position of the ASS or ON ignition key (fig. 1.69) are regulated. For adjustment of mirrors, choose an adjustable mirror, having shifted the selector to the left or to the right, press an edge of the adjusting switch from that party in which it is necessary to shift a mirror, return the selector in average situation for prevention of inadvertent adjustment.
