The main functions of the audio system of the car can be operated, without tearing off hands from a steering wheel (fig. 1.64).

Sound intensity adjustment:

– to use the button 1 to increase;

– for reduction – the button 3;

– for full muffling button 2.

The signal source (radio station of amplitude – AM – or frequency – FM1 and FM2 – modulations, the tape recorder – the CONTAINER – or the player – CD) is chosen by means of the button 5. The receiver can be switched on by the same button.

Search of radio stations and separate records on the cartridge or a plate is conducted by means of buttons 4 and 6: "forward", i.e. in the direction of higher bearing frequencies or big numbers of record button 4, "back", on decrease and reduction – the button 6.
