4.3.12. Dismantling and assembly of the lever of the suspension bracket / plug

Dismantling

Cut off a rubber covering of a flange of 1 plug of the forward lever of a suspension bracket.

Using the grinding machine 3 cut off a flange of the 2nd lobby of the plug (fig. 4.60).

ATTENTION

You watch to damaging the lever of a suspension bracket 4 during removal of a flange of the plug 2.

Vypressuyte the forward plug 1 by means of the special tool (A) and a hydraulic press of 2 (fig. 4.61).

Assembly

Press the forward plug 1 by means of the special tool (C) and a press of 2 (fig. 4.62).

ATTENTION

Make sure that used the new plug.

NOTE

Before installation of the plug, apply soap solution on its surface to facilitate installation.

Check of the lever of a suspension bracket / rotary fist

Check for existence of cracks, deformations or damages (fig. 4.63). If necessary replace.

Check of the plug of the lever of a suspension bracket

Check for existence of cracks, deformations or damages (fig. 4.64). If necessary replace.

Check of the hinge of the lever of a suspension bracket

Check smoothness of rotation (fig. 4.65).

Check a spherical finger for existence of damages.

Check the protection cover for existence of damages.

NOTE

The suspension bracket lever with the hinge has a non-demountable design.

In the presence of damages the lever of a suspension bracket has to be replaced assembled.
