After replacement of steering draft or its tip, check a convergence, and then also angles of rotation of the operated wheels by means of a template for measurement of radius of turn 1. If angles of rotation of the operated wheels do not meet standard, check equality of lengths of the right and left drafts to the A size (fig. 4.18).

NOTE
If lengths of drafts changed in the course of adjustment of angles of rotation of the operated wheels, repeatedly check a convergence of wheels.

The angle of rotation is internal: 37,5 ° +3 °, external: 32,5 ° +3 °.

Side withdrawal (reference information)
When checking by a tester of side withdrawal, side withdrawal has to satisfy to the following characteristics.
Side withdrawal: 1,0–4,0 mm/m.
If side withdrawal exceeds extreme value, the size of a convergence or the angles of installation of forward wheels cannot meet standard.
