4.3.8. Check of a rack of a forward suspension bracket assembled

Check a rack for existence of leak of oil, damages or deformation.
If the rack is faulty, replace it assembled because it has a non-demountable design.
Check work of a rack as follows.
Check and adjust pressure in tires.
To Prozhmita a forward part of a body of the car 3 or 4 of time from the checked rack.

Putting identical effort at each push estimate rack resistance at the course of compression and a release (fig. 4.36).
Besides, remember how many fluctuations the car body to a stop made after impact on it was stopped. Make the same for a rack on the other hand.
Compare resistance of a rack and number of fluctuations on the right and at the left. The left and right racks have to behave equally. If the rack is serviceable, the body of the car has to stop the movement right after the termination of influence or having made only one or two fluctuations of small amplitude after the influence termination.
If the condition of racks raises doubts, compare them to obviously serviceable.
Check a condition of wheel bearings, with wear, unusual noise or jamming replace.
Check a condition of cups of springs, in the presence of cracks or deformation replace.
Check a condition of the buffer of compression, in the presence of damages replace.
Check a condition of the buffer of the course of return and a support are resistant, with wear, cracks or deformation replace.
