Removal
Lift the car on the elevator and remove a wheel.
Raskontrite nut of a power shaft 1.

Press and hold a brake pedal. Turn off a nut of a power shaft of 1 (fig. 4.38).
Turn off bolts of the holder of a support.

Remove a support 1 with the holder (fig. 4.39).

NOTE
Suspend the removed support on a hook or a wire 3 so that to prevent an excessive bend or a tension of a brake hose of 4 (fig. 4.39).
Do not press a brake pedal at the removed blocks.

Remove a brake disk 2 by means of two bolts on 8 mm (fig. 4.39).

Remove a nave of a wheel 1 by means of special tools (fig. 4.40).

ATTENTION
If the nave of a wheel was removed, replace the wheel bearing new.

Disconnect a tip of steering draft 1 from a rotary fist 2 by means of the special tool (fig. 4.41).

Take out the sensor of speed of a wheel 1 of a rotary fist (if the car is equipped with anti-blocking system of brakes) (fig. 4.42).
Weaken nuts of an arm of a rack 1.

Turn off a bolt and a nut 4 spherical hinges 3 (fig. 4.43).
Turn off rack arm bolts, take out them from an arm of a rack and from a rotary fist of 2 (fig. 4.43).

Installation
Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal, except for the following.

Using the special tool, establish a nave of a wheel 1 on a rotary fist 2, then establish a rotary fist 2 on a rack and the lower spherical hinge (fig. 4.44).

ATTENTION
Replace the wheel bearing new every time when the wheel nave is removed.

Establish a bolt of the spherical hinge 1 with a nut 2, as shown in the figure 4.43.
Tighten a nut of the spherical hinge of the lever of a suspension bracket the 2nd nominal force of an inhaling.
Moment of an inhaling of a nut of the spherical hinge of the lever of a suspension bracket (a): 60 N · m.
Tighten a rack arm nut the 3rd nominal force of an inhaling.
Moment of an inhaling of a nut of an arm of a rack (b): 105 N · m.
Install the sensor of speed of a wheel of anti-blocking system of brakes 1 (if the car is equipped with anti-blocking system of brakes).
Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of the sensor of speed of a wheel of anti-blocking system of brakes (a): 23 N · m.

Insert a tip of steering draft 1 into a rotary fist 2. Tighten a nut 3 so that openings under the forelock 4 got to nut cuts, but within the nominal force of an inhaling (fig. 4.45).
Moment of an inhaling of a koronchaty nut of a steering rod end of draft (a): 45 N · m.
Install the new forelock 4 (fig. 4.45).

Establish a support of a brake of 3 (fig. 4.46).
Tighten a bolt of the holder of a support the nominal force of an inhaling.
Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of the holder of a support: 85 N · m.
Press a pedal of a brake and hold it in this situation. Tighten a new nut of a power shaft 1 nominal force of an inhaling.
Moment of an inhaling of a nut of a power shaft (a): 175 N · m.

ATTENTION
Never reuse a nut of a power shaft 1.

Tighten a nut of a power shaft 1, as shown in the figure 4.46.

ATTENTION
You watch that at a nut raskontrivaniye on its deformable part cracks were not formed. The nut with a crack has to be replaced by new.

Wheel nut inhaling moment: 85 N · m.
