2.3.14. Removal and installation of the pump of cooling liquid

Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.

Merge liquid from system having weakened a drain stopper of a radiator.

Remove a compressor belt of the air conditioning system.

Weaken an adjusting bolt 2 driving belts of the pump cooling the liquid / generator and a generator 3 hinge bolt. Then take off a driving belt of the pump cooling the liquid / generator 1 and a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid (fig. 2.199).

Remove the pump of cooling liquid 1 assembled (fig. 2.201).

Apply sealant 1 on the interfaced surface of the pump of cooling liquid, as shown in the figure 2.202.

"A": Waterproof sealant 99000-31250.

Amount of sealant (on the interfaced surface of the pump): width of "a": 3 mm; height of "b": 2 mm.

To install the pump of cooling liquid 1 on the block of cylinders and tighten bolts and a nut the nominal force of an inhaling (fig. 2.201).

Moment of an inhaling of a bolt and nut of the pump of cooling liquid (a): 22 N · m.

Establish a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid.

Establish a driving belt of the pump cooling the liquid / generator.

Establish a compressor belt of the air conditioning system.

Fill in cooling liquid.

Connect a wire to a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.

Check system for existence of leaks.
