2.8. The engine and system of decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases (M13 and M16 engines)





ATTENTION
For the cars equipped with an additional security system (inflatable safety cushions):
– service of elements of system of passive safety or its electrical wiring has to be carried out only by the authorized dealer of Suzuki. Non-compliance with precautionary measures can lead to sudden activation of system or to a system exit out of operation. In any of these cases there is a risk of getting injured;
– work on maintenance can be begun later not less than 90 with later switching off of ignition and a detachment of a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery. Otherwise, the system can work due to the energy reserved in the module of sensors and diagnostics (SDM).

NOTE
Existence of one of the following systems (elements) on the concrete car is defined by a car complete set. Make sure that took it into account, when working on maintenance:
– the valve of recirculation of the fulfilled gases;
– the sensor (i) of concentration of oxygen with heating or WITH - a potentiometer;
– three-component catalytic converter;
– indicator lamp of an immobilizator;
– detonation sensor.
