2.8.12. Check of a control system of the fan of a radiator

ATTENTION
You keep hands, the tool and clothes at arm's length from the engine cooling system fan to prevent risk of getting injured. The fan has the electric drive and can turn on at the idle engine. The fan automatically turns on on a signal of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid at the included ignition.

Check work of system on the diagnostic table.
If the fan of a radiator does not work properly, check the relay, the fan of a radiator and the electric circuit.
Check of the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3
Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.
Take out the relay from the socket(s).

Check lack of electric contact between conclusions of "C" and "D". If the electric contact is, replace the relay.
Connect a positive conclusion of the rechargeable battery to a conclusion of "B" of the relay. Connect a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery to a conclusion of "A" of the relay.
Check existence of electric contact between conclusions of "C" and "D". If at connection of the relay to the rechargeable battery there is no electric contact, replace the relay.
