2.8.9. Check of the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft

Check the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft according to the diagnostic table P0340 (No. 15). If the sensor is faulty, replace it.

Removal
Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.
To disconnect the socket from the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft.

Remove the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft from a head of the block of cylinders (fig. 2.285).

Installation
Check a sealing ring for existence of damages.
Make sure that the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft and a gear rotor have no damages and on them there are no metal particles.
To install the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft on a head of the block of cylinders.
Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft (a): 10 N · m.
Connect the socket to the sensor.
Connect a wire to a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.
