2.8.5. Sensor of provision of a butterfly valve

Check
Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery and I will corrode from the air temperature sensor on an admission.
Remove the air filter assembled with the taking-away hose and disconnect the socket of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.

Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between conclusions according to the table (fig. 2.277) given below.
If the result of check does not meet standard, replace the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.

NOTE
The difference of indications of an ohmmeter at completely open and completely closed butterfly valve has to be not less than 2 kOhm.

Connect the socket of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.
Connect a wire to a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.

Removal
Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.
Remove a throttle branch pipe from an inlet collector.
Remove the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve from a throttle branch pipe.

Installation

Install the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve 1 on a throttle branch pipe (fig. 2.278).
Install the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve on a throttle branch pipe so that its openings 3 were at some distance from openings under the screw of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve 2, as shown in the left drawing, and turn the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve clockwise so that openings were combined by 3 (fig. 2.278).
Moment of an inhaling of the screw of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (a): 2,5 N · m.
Connect the socket to the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.
Connect a wire to a negative conclusion the rechargeable battery.
