2.8.8. The sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating (the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating No. 1 and the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating No. 2)

Check of the heater of the sensor of concentration of oxygen
Disconnect the sensor socket.

Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between conclusions of "VB" and "GND" of the socket of the sensor (fig. 2.283).
At failure detection replace the sensor of concentration of oxygen.

NOTE
Sensor temperature considerably influences its resistance.

Make sure that the heater of the sensor has the corresponding temperature.
Resistance of the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating No. 1: 5,0–6,4 Ohms at 20 °C, the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating No. 2: 11,7–14,3 Ohms at 20 °C.
Connect the sensor socket.

Removal
Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.

ATTENTION
To avoid risk of receiving burns, do not touch system of release until it cooled down. Removal of the sensor of concentration of oxygen has to be carried out when the system cools down.

For the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating No. 1, disconnect the socket of the sensor and exempt its plait of wires from collars, then remove the heat-insulating screen and a front bumper.
For the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating No. 2, disconnect the sensor socket, exempt its plait of wires from a collar and lift the car.

Turn out the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating 1 of a final collector or an exhaust pipe (fig. 2.284).

Installation
Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal, except for the following.
Delay the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating by 1 nominal force of an inhaling.
The moment of an inhaling of the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating (a): 45 N · m.
Connect the socket of the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating 1 and reliably fix a plait of wires.
After installation of the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating 1, start the engine and be convinced of lack of leak of the fulfilled gases.
