Adjustment of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve

Completely press a pedal of management of supply of fuel and check a gap between the lever 1 and the limiter of the lever of a butterfly valve 2 (a throttle branch pipe), the size of a gap has to be within the range (fig. 2.273) provided below.
If the measured value – differs from norm, adjust a gap rotating an adjusting nut of a cable 3.
Adjusting gap of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve (at completely pressed pedal) "a": 0,5–2,0 mm

Check of frequency of rotation of the single course / work of the regulator of idling
Before check of frequency of rotation of the single course / work of the regulator of idling, be convinced of the following.
Wires and hoses of electronic system of injection of fuel and system of decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases are reliably connected.
The cable of the drive of a butterfly valve has some free wheeling, that is, will not pull.
Check and adjustment of a gap in the drive of valves is carried out according to the schedule of maintenance and repair.
Installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition meets standard.
All service equipment (screen wipers, heater, lighting devices, air conditioning system, etc.). Are switched off.
The air filter is installed properly and is in satisfactory condition.
The system of an admission is tight.
After check and the confirmation which is listed above check the frequency of rotation of idling and an operating mode of the regulator of idling as follows.

NOTE
Before launch of the engine transfer the gear shifting lever to neutral situation (the selector lever in situation "P" for models with the automatic transmission), slow down the car the parking brake system of set and record driving wheels.

Connect the Suzuki scanner to the DLC 1 socket at the switched-off ignition if such scanner is available at the disposal of (fig. 2.274).
Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
Check the frequency of rotation of idling and an operating mode of the regulator of idling as follows.
When using the Suzuki scanner
Choose the Data List mode for check of "An operating mode of the regulator of idling".

NOTE
The operating mode of the regulator of idling can be checked, using diagnostics socket only for the cars which are not equipped with an indicator lamp of an immobilizator.

When using a tester of the regulator of idling (the car without indicator lamp of an immobilizator)
Connect a tachometer.
Using a test wire 2, connect to weight a conclusion of diagnostics 4 in the socket diagnostiki3 and connect a tester between a conclusion of an operating mode 5 and a conclusion of mass of the 6th socket of diagnostics 3.
If the operating mode and/or frequency of rotation of idling does not meet standard, check system of regulation of idling (fig. 2.274).
Take out a test wire from the socket of diagnostics 1.
Make sure that the set frequency of idling is provided at the switched-on air conditioning system if the car is equipped with the air conditioning system.
Otherwise, check an alarm chain of inclusion of air conditioning system and system of regulation of idling.

Check / adjustment of composition of mix idling (the car without sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating)
All cars which are not equipped with the sensor of concentration of oxygen with heating are delivered with factory adjustment of maintenance of CO.
Composition of mix idling (CO, %): 0,5–5,0% with the specified idling rotation frequency.
The composition of mix idling never has to change in comparison with factory adjustments. However, if at diagnostics check shows that the composition of mix idling is the reason of complaints of the driver to riding qualities or deviations of concentration of harmful emissions from norm, then the composition of mix idling can be adjusted as follows.

NOTE
Check and adjustment require a gas analyzer and a tachometer.

Check idling rotation frequency.
Using a gas analyzer, check the maintenance of CO in the fulfilled gases idling. If the maintenance of CO in the fulfilled gases differs from norm, adjust its rotation CO heads – a potentiometer.

NOTE
At rotation of a head of a CO potentiometer towards "A" the maintenance of CO increases (working mix becomes rich), at rotation – towards "B" the maintenance of CO decreases (working mix becomes poor) (fig. 2.275).

If adjustment of composition of mix idling was made, be convinced that the frequency of rotation of idling meets standard.
