3.3.2. Design of system of blocking of brakes

Electromagnetic valve of blocking of switching
This system consists of a control system of the valve of blocking of switching and a control system of a cable of blocking.
The control system of the electromagnetic valve of blocking of switching works in such a way that the lever of the selector cannot be translated from situation "P" if ignition is switched off, and the pedal of a brake is not pressed.
The control system of a cable of blocking works in such a way that the lever of the selector cannot be translated from situation "P" if the switch of ignition is not in position of ACC or ON.
Besides, the ignition key is blocked in the lock if the lever of the selector is not in situation "P".

Without pressing a brake pedal, the plate of blocking of switching moves pressing of the button 1. (For the translation of the lever of the selector from situation "P" in any other situation turn the turn ignition switch in position of ACC or ON) (fig. 3.87).

General description of diagnostics of the automatic transmission
This car is equipped with an electronic control system of the transmission which operates automatic switching and gear shifting, operation of the hydrotransformer, etc. according to vehicle traffic conditions.
The control unit is equipped with onboard system of diagnostics which reveals malfunctions in this system and an aberration in work of those elements which influence emission of harmful substances with the fulfilled gases.

NOTE
Depending on a complete set of the car there are two types of system of onboard diagnostics. The type of system of onboard diagnostics of the served car can be identified on existence or lack of a control lamp of an immobilizator 1 in a combination of devices. For detection of a control lamp of an immobilizator 1 include ignition in combinations of devices without starting the engine (fig. 3.88).
