Weaken an oil filter by means of a special key for an oil filter (the special tool) (fig. 2.5).

NOTE Before installation of a new oil filter be convinced that covered with oil its sealing ring (fig. 2.6). For this purpose use engine oil.

Wrap the new filter on the union of an oil filter manually before contact of a sealing ring of the filter with a landing surface.

ATTENTION To tighten an oil filter properly, it is important to define precisely situation in which the sealing ring of the filter makes contact with a landing surface.

Tighten the filter 1 on 3/4 turns from a common ground with a landing surface, using a special key for an oil filter 2 (fig. 2.7).

Moment of an inhaling of an oil filter (b): 14 N · m.

Fill in oil to FULL tag on the probe for measurement of level (the oil pallet and filling volume of an oil filter). The jellied opening is located above a cover of a head of the block of cylinders. It is recommended to use engine oil of the class SG, SH, SJ or SL. Choose oil of the corresponding viscosity according to the schedule of viscosity of engine oil (fig. 2.8).

NOTE The filling volume of engine oil is provided below.

However, pay attention that the amount of the oil which is actually consumed when replacing can differ a little from the provided data depending on various conditions (temperature, viscosity, etc.).

Filling volume of the oil pallet: about 3,6 l.

Filling volume of an oil filter: about 0,2 l.

Another: about 0,3 l.

In total about 4,1 l.

Check an oil filter and a drain stopper for oil leak existence.

Start the engine and let's it work within three minutes. Stop the engine and wait 5 more min. before check of level of oil. If necessary add oil to FULL tag on the probe for measurement of level.
