6.1.11. Assembly of the main cylinder

ATTENTION Never use mineral oil, like kerosene or gasoline for a sink and at assembly. Check a condition of walls of the cylinder, pistons and consolidations. On them there should not be a dust and dirt. At assembly be careful not to damage a detail. Do not allow falling of details. If any detail fell on a firm surface do not use it at assembly.

Apply brake fluid on internal walls of the cylinder and the contact surfaces of the piston (new cuffs of the piston, a new cuff of the cylinder).

To install a returnable spring and the piston of the secondary camera 1 in the case of the cylinder 4 (fig. 6.23).

NOTE For cars with the left arrangement of steering with anti-blocking system of brakes, at installation combine an oblong opening in the piston of the secondary camera 2 with a limiter 3 pin opening in the case of the main cylinder 4 (fig. 6.23).

To install the piston of primary camera assembled in the cylinder.

Establish a bolt of the limiter of a piston stroke 1 or the pin of the limiter 2, at the same time pistons have to be completely drowned, and tighten or establish a bolt or a pin (fig. 6.24).

Limiter A bolt inhaling moment: 10 N · m.
