6.1.18. Removal and installation of a cable of the parking brake system

Removal
Lift the car.

NOTE
If necessary to remove the right and left cables of the parking brake system repeat operations and on the right and left wheels.

Remove a wheel.
Disconnect a cable of the parking brake system from the equalizer (the lever of the drive of the parking brake system) and collars.
Remove the brake drum.
Disconnect a cable of the parking brake system from the lever of a brake shoe.
Remove an arm of a cable of the drive of the parking brake system and a cable of the drive of the parking brake system.

Installation
Establish a suspension bracket rack in the return sequence, taking into account the following.
Establish collars as it is described in the section "Design of a Cable of the Drive of the Parking Brake System".
Tighten bolts and nuts the nominal force of an inhaling, see. "Design of a cable of the drive of the parking brake system:".

Inhaling moments
Bolt of the lever of the drive of the parking brake system: 23 N · m.
Bolt of a collar of a cable of the drive of the parking brake system: 11 N · m.
Adjust a cable of the drive of the parking brake system. See. "Check and adjustment of the parking brake system".
Check ease of rotation of the brake drum and operation of the brake system. After removal of the car from the elevator, the brake test has to be executed.
