6.1.8. Removal and installation of the tank of the main cylinder

NOTE
In the figure 6.16 the car with the left arrangement of steering is shown.

Removal
Disconnect the socket of the sensor of level of brake fluid on the tank.
Clear the tank outside.
Pump out liquid the syringe.

Remove a tank 1 pin by means of the special tool A (fig. 6.17).
|
ATTENTION
Brake fluid is extremely aggressive in relation to the painted surfaces. Do not allow hit of brake fluid on the painted surfaces.

Installation
At installation of the new condensing rings, grease them with that brake fluid. Install the condensing rings in the main cylinder. You watch correctness of installation of the condensing rings.

Install the tank 1 on the main cylinder, fix by a pin of 2 (fig. 6.18).

NOTE
At installation of a pin, both of its ends in the right and left tank have to be identical length.

Connect the socket of the sensor of level of brake fluid on the tank.
Fill the tank with brake fluid.
After completion of installation, check lack of leak of liquid.
