2.5.1. Precautionary measures at service of fuel system

Before performance of any kind of works on fuel system for decrease in risk of emergence of the fire or getting injured always follow the following rules.
Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.
You do not smoke on the place of performance of work.
Be convinced available the convenient carbon dioxide fire extinguisher.
Be convinced available good ventilation on the place of performance of work and sufficient remoteness from any sources of an open flame (like a gas heater).
Use goggles with glasses from unbreakable glasses.
To reduce pressure of vapors of fuel in the fuel tank, uncover a jellied mouth of the fuel tank, and then again establish it into place.
As the giving fuel-supply line is under the high pressure of fuel even after the engine was stopped, the direct detachment of the giving fuel-supply line can lead to dangerous emission of fuel. Before a detachment of the giving fuel-supply line, make sure that pressure of fuel is dumped.
A small amount of fuel can flow out from a fuel-supply line after a detachment. to reduce risk of getting injured, close the place of a detachment of a fuel-supply line a piece of fabric. After a detachment of a fuel-supply line put the fabric impregnated with gasoline in a special container.
Never allow operation of the engine at the switched-off relay of the fuel pump if the engine and system of release have high temperature.

Connections of hoses of fuel system 1 differ depending on type of tubes 2. At repeated connection of hoses of fuel system, be convinced that correctly connected and fixed by collars the 3rd all hoses, as shown in the figure 2.223.

NOTE
After connection, make sure that hoses are not overwound and have no loops.

At installation of a fuel nozzle or fuel stage, oil sealing rings veretenny or gasoline.
At a fuel-supply line with a nut at first tighten a nut a hand, and then by means of a key the nominal force of an inhaling.
