2.5.4. Description of the fuel pump

As the fuel pump 1 the submersible electric pump is used. Also are a part of the pump (fig. 2.224):
– the valve of adjustment of pressure in a tank 2 supports pressure in the fuel tank to constants and interferes with slopping of fuel and deformation of the fuel tank;
– the safety valve 3 prevents excessive increase in pressure in a tank;
– the gate-type fuel valve 4 prevents hit of fuel in the filter of system of catching of vapors of gasoline at the high level of fuel in a tank and an inclination of the car;
– besides, fuel filter 5 and fuel level sensor 6.
