2.5.13. Procedure of cleaning of the fuel tank

ATTENTION
At implementation of this procedure in a tank there will be fuel vapors.

Do not repair a tank in the conditions of high temperatures or in the presence of a flame as at the same time there is a danger of explosion and getting injured.
The following procedure is used for cleaning of the fuel tank.
After removal of the fuel tank take out from a tank all hoses, tubes and the fuel pump assembled.
Merge the fuel remains from a tank.
Transfer a tank to the place of a sink.
Fill a tank with warm or tap water, vigorously shake up and merge water. Repeat a sink before full cleaning of a tank. Replace a tank if its internal part underwent corrosion.
Completely merge the water which remained after a sink.

ATTENTION
Never leave in the fuel tank water after a sink, otherwise, the fuel tank will rust from within.
