2.5.8. Removal and installation of a fuel nozzle

Dump fuel pressure.

ATTENTION A small amount of fuel can flow out after removal of fuel nozzles, close the place of a detachment a piece of fabric.

Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.

Disconnect sockets of fuel nozzles and exempt a plait of wires from collars.

Turn off bolts of collars of the bringing and returnable fuel-supply lines.

Turn off bolts of a fuel stage 2.

Remove a fuel nozzle(s) of 3 (fig. 2.233).

Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal, except for the following.

Replace a sealing ring of a fuel nozzle 1 new.

Check the insulator 2 for existence of zadir or damages. If this is so, replace new.

Apply a thin film of fuel on sealing rings 1, and then establish fuel nozzles 3 in a fuel stage 4 and an inlet collector. Make sure that fuel nozzles rotate smoothly 6 (fig. 2.234). Otherwise, the wrong installation of a sealing ring is a probable cause.

Replace a sealing ring new.

Tighten bolts of a fuel stage the 5th nominal force of an inhaling and make sure that fuel nozzles rotate smoothly (fig. 2.234).

Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of a fuel stage (a): 28 N · m.

After installation without starting the engine include ignition and be convinced of lack of leak of fuel in connections of fuel-supply lines.
