After cleaning of a junction of a pressure head hose and the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering 3 disconnect a hose from the pump and install the special tool (the oil pressure sensor, the extra and a hose) (fig. 5.37). Tighten nuts of pipelines the nominal force of an inhaling.
Check connections for existence of leak of liquid and remove air from system, see. "Procedure of removal of air".

Start the engine and leave it to work until liquid in a hydraulic system of steering gets warm to 50–60 °C (fig. 5.35).
Check counter-pressure measuring pressure at the idling engine and a free steering wheel.
If counter-pressure is higher than norm, check the operating valve and the pipeline for existence of a contamination.

Counter-pressure: less than 1000 kPa (fig. 5.38).
Check unloading pressure.

Increase the frequency of rotation of the engine approximately up to 1500 min.-1. Gradually closing the valve of the manometer 2 you monitor growth of pressure on the manometer and notice value of unloading pressure (the maximum hydraulic pressure) (fig. 5.39).
If it is higher than the specified value, malfunction of the perepuskny valve is the possible reason.
If it is lower than the specified value, the possible reason is failure of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering 4 or adjustment of a spring of the perepuskny valve.

ATTENTION
You watch that the valve was not closed more than 10 pages.

Then completely open the valve of the manometer 2 and increase the frequency of rotation of the engine approximately up to 1500 min.-1. Turn a steering wheel to the left or to the right against the stop and notice value of the unloading pressure (fig. 5.40).
If it is higher than the specified value, malfunction of the perepuskny valve is the possible reason.
If it is lower than the specified value, malfunction of the steering mechanism 5 is the possible reason. Replace the steering mechanism.

ATTENTION
You watch that the steering wheel was not in extreme situation more than 10 pages.
