Using a center punch 1 weaken and turn off bolts of fastening of the lock of steering of 2 (fig. 5.28).

NOTE
You watch to damaging aluminum details of the case of the lock of steering.

Turn the ignition key in the provision of "ACC" or "ON" and remove the ignition switch with the anti-theft device from a steering column.
Installation
Orient an oblong opening of 1 shaft of steering 2 on the center of an opening 3 in a column 4.

Turn the ignition key in the provision of "ACC" or "ON" and install the ignition switch with the anti-theft device 5 on a column 4 (fig. 5.29). Turn the ignition key in the provision of "LOCK" and take it from the lock.

To combine the plug on the lock with an oblong opening of 1 steering shaft 2 and check operation of the lock of a shaft (fig. 5.30). Tighten new bolts 1 to a separation of a head of each bolt (fig. 5.30). Turn the ignition key in the provision of "ACC" or "ON" to be convinced that the steering shaft 2 rotates without hindrances. Also check operation of the lock.
