5.2.14. Check of a driving belt of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering on the carRemove the lower cover of the engine on the right side.
Check a belt for existence of cracks, cuts, deformations, wear and pollution.
If defect is found, replace a belt of the drive of the hydraulic booster of steering. See. "Removal and installation of a driving belt of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering".
Check a tension of a belt having measured its deviation at application of effort approximately from 10 kg in an average point and adjust in case of need.
Deflection of a belt of the amplifier of steering: "a" – 5,5–8,5 mm, "b" – 4,0–9,0 mm.
