5.2.22. Dismantling and assembly of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steeringDismantling
Carefully clear the pump outside.
Establish a pump housing in a vice with aluminum sponges.

Turn off a connecting bolt of absorption 1, remove the union of absorption 2 and a sealing ring 3 from a pump housing of 4 (fig. 5.69).
Remove pressure sensor in a hydraulic system of steering 5 of a pump housing.
Remove a cap 6, sealing rings 20, a spring 8 and the safety valve (the stream regulator) 9 from a pump housing (fig. 5.69).
Turn off bolts of a cover 7, uncover 10 and a sealing ring 17 a pump housing.
Remove a lock ring 12 from a shaft of the pump (fig. 5.69).
Take out blades 13 of a rotor 14.
Remove a cam ring 15, a rotor 14, a side plate 16 and sealing rings 11 of a pump housing (fig. 5.69).
Take out a pulley 18 of a pump housing.
Assembly
Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal, except for the following.

Apply jellied lubricant on a working edge of an epiploon 1. Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on the surfaces of friction of a shaft 2, and then establish a shaft in a pump housing (fig. 5.70).
Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on sealing rings 1 and install them in the case (fig. 5.71).
Establish a side plate 1 in a pump housing (fig. 5.71).
NOTE
Accurately combine adjusting pins on a side plate 1 with an opening 2, as shown in the figure 5.72.

Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on the surfaces of friction of a rotor of 1 (fig. 5.73).
Establish a rotor on a shaft so that the point 3 at an end face of a rotor was turned (fig. 5.73) up.
NOTE
Never reuse the removed lock ring.

Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on the surfaces of friction of a cam ring of 1 (fig. 5.74).
Install a cam ring in the case. A conic part of a ring 1 has to be turned to a side plate of 2 (fig. 5.74).
Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on blades 2 (fig. 5.75).
Install blades (12 pieces) 2 in a rotor of 1 (fig. 5.75).

Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on a sealing ring of 1 (fig. 5.76).
Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on the surfaces of friction of a cover of the pump and a rotor.

Combine adjusting pins 1 with openings in a cover 2, as shown in the figure 5.77, then install a pump cover on the case.
Gradually tighten pump cover bolts the nominal force of an inhaling.

NOTE
After installation of a cover of the pump 1 check a hand ease of rotation of a shaft (fig. 5.78).

Moment of an inhaling of bolts of a cover of the pump (a): 28 N · m.
Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on a sealing ring of the switch.

Install the sensor of pressure 1 in the case (fig. 5.79).
Moment of an inhaling of the sensor of pressure (b): 28 N · m.
Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on the safety valve (the stream regulator).
Install the safety valve (the stream regulator) in a pump housing.
Establish a spring.
Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on sealing rings of a cap.
Establish sealing rings on a cap.
Tighten a cap 1 nominal force of an inhaling (fig. 5.80).
Moment of an inhaling of a cap (c): 60 N · m.
Apply liquid for hydraulic systems on a sealing ring of the union of absorption.

Install a sealing ring 2 on the union of absorption of 1 (fig. 5.81).

Install the union of absorption 1 in the case, as shown in the drawing, then tighten a bolt of the union of absorption by the nominal force of an inhaling (fig. 5.82).
Moment of an inhaling of bolts of the union of absorption (d): 12 N · m.
