"A": Apply a sealant 99000-31140 on the interfaced surfaces of the cylinder and a head of the block of cylinders;
"B": Apply a sealant 99000-31250 on the interfaced gas distribution mechanism drive chain cover surfaces

Removal
Remove the power unit from the car.
Turn off a bolt of a pulley of a bent shaft.

To record a pulley of a bent shaft 1, use the special tool, as shown in the figure 2.66.
Remove a pulley of a bent shaft 1.

If the pulley is removed hardly, use special tools, as shown in the figure 2.67.
Uncover a head of the block of cylinders and the oil pallet.
Remove an arm of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering (if the car is equipped with steering with the hydraulic booster).
Remove a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid.

Uncover a chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution of 1 (fig. 2.68).

Installation
Establish an epiploon 1 in a gas distribution mechanism drive chain cover if he acted.

NOTE
At installation of a new epiploon 1, press an epiploon in a cover of a chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution 2 with use of the special tool (for installation of bearings), as shown in the figure 2.69.

Depth of installation of an epiploon of "a": 1,5 mm.

Apply a sealant of "A" on the interfaced surfaces of the cylinder and a head of the block of cylinders, apply a sealant of "B" on the interfaced gas distribution mechanism drive chain cover surface, as shown in the drawing.
"A": Sealant 99000-31140
"B": Waterproof sealant 99000-31250
Quantity of a sealant for a gas distribution mechanism drive chain cover
Width of "a": 3 mm.
Height of "b": 2 mm.
Apply engine oil on a working edge of an epiploon, then establish a cover of a chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution 1. Tighten bolts and a nut the nominal force of an inhaling.

NOTE
Before installation of a cover of a chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution, check reliability of installation of a pin (fig. 2.71).

Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of a cover of a chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution (a): 23 N · m
Establish a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid.
Establish an arm of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering (if the car is equipped with steering with the hydraulic booster).
Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Install the oil pallet.
Establish a pulley of a bent shaft 1. Tighten a bolt the 2nd nominal force of an inhaling. to record a pulley of a bent shaft, use the special tool, as shown in the figure 2.66.
Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of a pulley of a bent shaft (a): 150 N · m.
Install the power unit on the car.
