2.2.8. Removal and installation of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders

Disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.

Uncover the engine 1 (fig. 2.50).

Disconnect sockets of the coil of ignition 1.

Disconnect coils of ignition 2 with wires of high voltage of 3 (fig. 2.51).

Remove the oil 1 level sensor.

Disconnect a hose 2 from the valve of ventilation of a case 3 and a hose of a sapun 4 from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.

Remove an arm of a hose of the amplifier of steering from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders if the car is equipped with steering with the amplifier.

Turn off bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders in such order, as shown in the figure 2.52.

Uncover a head of the block of cylinders 1 with laying 2 and laying of openings of spark plugs 3 (fig. 2.53).

Establish new laying of openings of spark plugs 1 and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders 2 on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders 3, as shown in the drawing.

Remove oil, an old sealant and dust from the condensed surfaces of a head of the block of cylinders and a cover. After cleaning, apply the condensing material "A" in the following places:

– the interfaced surfaces of a cover of a chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution 1 and heads of the block of cylinders 2, as shown in the figure 2.55.

Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders on a head of the block of cylinders.

NOTE At installation of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders you watch that laying of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and laying of openings of spark plugs did not move from the places or did not drop out.

Tighten bolts in the order shown in the figure 2.56, the specified effort of an inhaling.

Bolt of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders (a): Tighten the moment 8 N · m in that order.

Connect a hose 2 to the valve of ventilation of a case 3.

Connect a hose of a sapun 4.

Install the oil 1 level sensor.

Establish an arm of a hose of the hydraulic booster of steering on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders if it was removed.

Install ignition coils with high-voltage wires.

Connect sockets of coils of ignition and reliably fix a plait.

Establish an engine 1 cover as follows.

Reliably fix a part of "A" of an inlet pipe 2 on an engine cover.

Tighten engine cover bolts in the order shown in the figure 2.57.

Moment of an inhaling of bolts of a cover of the engine (a): 8 N · m in that order.

Connect a wire to a negative conclusion of the rechargeable battery.
