Fig. 2.121. Removal of a deposit from walls of combustion chambers
|
Remove all deposit from walls of combustion chambers (fig. 2.121).
NOTE
For removal of a deposit do not use the tool with keen edges. During removal of a deposit you watch to leaving on the surface of metal of scratches and zadir. The same treats valves and saddles of valves.

Fig. 2.122. Check of the condensed surface of a head of the block of cylinders from the plane
|
Check a head of the block of cylinders for existence of cracks in inlet and final channels, combustion chambers and for head surfaces. Using a testing ruler and the probe, check planeness of a surface of the socket of a head with the block of cylinders in total in 6 places. If deformation exceeds extreme value, correct the condensed surface a plate and an emery paper approximately for No. 400 (A waterproof emery paper with silicon carbide): Wrap up a plate an emery paper and a proshlifuyta the condensed surface to clean the acting places. If after that results of measurement do not meet standard (exceed extreme value), replace a head of the block of cylinders. Leakage of products of combustion through the plane of the socket of a head and the block of cylinders often is a consequence of deformation of the condensed surfaces: such leak leads to deceleration of power of the engine (fig. 2.122).
Extreme value of a deviation of the condensed surface of a head of the block of cylinders from the plane: 0,03 mm.

Fig. 2.123. Check of deformation of landing surfaces of inlet and final collectors on a head of the block of cylinders
|
Deformation of landing surfaces of collectors: Check landing surfaces of collectors on a head of the block of cylinders, using a testing ruler and the probe to define whether editing of surfaces is possible or it is necessary to replace a head of the block of cylinders (fig. 2.123).
Extreme value of deformation of landing surfaces of inlet and final collectors on a head of the block of cylinders: 0,05 mm.
