2.2.26. Check of a bent shaft

Check of a beating
Using the indicator of hour type, measure a beating of the central radical neck of a bent shaft. Rotate a bent shaft slowly. If the beating exceeds extreme value, replace a bent shaft.

Extreme value of a beating: 0,04 mm.

Axial free wheeling
At measurement of size of an axial free wheeling the bent shaft has to be installed in the block of cylinders as usual, that is the persistent bearing 1 and covers of radical bearings have to be on the places.

Nominal thickness of the persistent bearing of a bent shaft: 2,470–2,520 mm.
The increased size of 0,125 mm: 2,533–2,583 mm.
Gradually tighten bolts of a cover of the bearing No. 1 1-10 and a cover of the bearing No. 2 11-20 as follows.

Tighten bolts 1–10 moment of 30 N · m in the order specified in the figure 2.166.
In the same way, as well as when performing operation (1) tighten bolts the moment of 50 N · m.
In the same way, as well as when performing operation (1), tighten bolts on 60 °.
Tighten bolts 11–20 moment of 22 N · m in the order specified in the drawing.

Inhaling moment
Bolt of fastening of a cover of the radical bearing of a bent shaft No. 1 (1-10): tighten the moment 30 N · m, 50 N · also tighten m on 60 °
Bolt of fastening of a cover of the radical bearing of a bent shaft No. 2 (11-20): tighten the moment 22 N · m.

Axial shift

Use the indicator of hour type for measurement of shift in the axial direction of a bent shaft.
If the result of measurement exceeds extreme value, replace the persistent bearing new the nominal size or the increased size to normalize an axial gap.

Axial free wheeling of a bent shaft
Nominal rate: 0,11–0,31 mm.
Extreme value: 0,35 mm.

NOTE
After check of an axial free wheeling, make sure that deformation of bolts of a cover of the bearing No. 1 does not exceed extreme value.

Ovality and conicity (uneven wear) of radical necks of a bent shaft

Unevenness of wear of a neck of a bent shaft is determined by a difference of diameters in cross section or by section length. This difference is determined by indications of a micrometer. If any of radical necks of a bent shaft has damages or traces нерав№ного wear, that is, excess of extreme value takes place, to a proshlifuyta a neck or replace a bent shaft.
Extreme value on ovality and conicity of 0,01 mm.
