1.6.26. Oil for the automatic transmission

Use in an automatic box oil the corresponding DEXRON®-III.

The box can suffer both at too high, and at too low level of oil.

Level of oil should be checked at its normal working temperature. For check of level warm oil: do a bit of traveling a little or let's the engine work idling until the index shows normal working temperature.

Do not check level right after long bystry driving, after driving on the city or in hot weather, or after towage of the trailer. Let's oil cool down (about 30 min.) that the measurement of level was exact

Install the car horizontally.
Turn on the parking brake and start the engine with the lever in position of the parking "Р". Let's it work idling at first 2 min. and further in all the time of check of level;
Having pressed a brake pedal, carry out by the lever on all positions. Then establish it back in position of the parking "Р".
During movement of the lever of switching surely press a brake pedal for prevention of the unexpected movement of the car.

AKP oil indicator handle for the best identification is painted in red color; extend the index, clear it and insert back up to the end. Extend the index again.
Check both parties of the index and take the smallest indication of level into account. It has to be between two tags of zone "NOTES".

Add oil through an opening for the index of level precisely to necessary level.
After check or addition of liquid do not forget to insert the probe into place properly.

Oil change
During the work special receptions, materials and the tool therefore it is recommended to entrust it to the official dealer of Suzuki are required.
