1.6.41. Screen wiper brushes

If elastic bands of brushes became fragile, were damaged or leave marks on glass, replace them. Replacement is made described below.

ATTENTION
For prevention of scratches or damage of glass do not allow blows of the lever of a brush of a screen wiper to glass during replacement of elastic bands.

Screenwashes
Take away the screen wiper lever from glass.

Press a blocking rychazhok 1 to the lever 2 and remove a brush from the lever, as shown in the figure 1.244.
Rasfiksiruyte the end of an elastic band also bring an elastic band out of a brush framework, as shown in the figure 1.244.

NOTE
At type C do not bend the end of a framework of a brush more, than it is necessary. Otherwise it can break off.

If the new elastic band is not equipped with the fixing plates, rearrange them from an old brush (fig. 1.247).
Insert a new elastic band upside-down, having directed the fixed end to the brush lever (except for type C). Check that the elastic band was reliably recorded by all hooks. Record the end of an elastic band on the place.
Attach a brush to the lever, having convinced that the blocking rychazhok was latched.

Take away the screen wiper lever from glass (fig. 1.248).
Remove a brush from the lever.
Bring an elastic band out of a brush framework, as shown in the figure 1.246.

NOTE
Do not bend the end of a framework of a brush more, than it is necessary. Otherwise it can break off.

If the new elastic band is not equipped with the fixing plates, a feather put them from an old brush.
Insert a new elastic band upside-down. Check that the elastic band was reliably recorded by all hooks.
Attach a brush to the lever in the return in relation to removal an order.
