1.6.7. Manual transmission

To start the movement press a pedal of coupling and include the first transfer. After switching off of the parking brake gradually include coupling. Having heard change of a sound of operation of the engine, press smoothly an accelerator pedal, continuing to release a coupling pedal.

All transfers, except a backing, are synchronized that provides silent and easy switching. Before switching always press completely a coupling pedal.

Support the frequency of rotation of the engine such that the indication did not come into a red zone of a scale of a tachometer.

Reduce speed and include lower transfer before long or abrupt descent. It will allow to brake the engine. Wheel brakes can overheat and fail. On the slippery road before inclusion of lower transfer reduce speed. Otherwise because of sharp braking can be blocked by the engine of a wheel and you will lose control over the car.

Before inclusion of a backing be convinced of a full stop of the car.

ATTENTION You do not hold a leg on a coupling pedal during the movement: coupling will fail. Do not hold the car on a slope, playing coupling. Switching transfers, completely switch off coupling. At gear shifting or start-off from the place do not "increase speed" excessively. It reduces service life of the engine and worsens its work.
