1.6.27. Cooling liquid of the engine

Choice of cooling liquid
Apply original Suzuki cooling liquid or equivalent to it liquid: it will keep high power rates and the best condition of the engine. Such liquid provides: maintenance of the necessary temperature, prevention of boiling and freezing, protection against corrosion.
Use of unrecommended cooling liquid can lead to damage of the cooling system.

In order to avoid damage of the cooling system always apply qualitative ethylene the glycoleft (not silicate) cooling liquid diluted with the distilled water.
Provide a ratio of the concentrated liquid and the distilled water 50:50 (not higher than 70:30 by no means). The maintenance of a concentrate will give 70% to an engine overheat above.
Do not apply an undiluted concentrate and only one water.
Do not add inhibitors and additives to liquid, they can not be combined with the car cooling system.
Do not mix cooling liquids with basic substances of various types; it can result in the accelerated wear of epiploons, an overheat and serious damage of the engine and automatic KP.

Check level in a broad bach ке, but not in a radiator. At the cold engine the level of liquid has to be between a tag ми "FULL" and "LOW" (fig. 1.196).

Liquid addition
If level is lower than the mark "LOW", bypass мо to add liquid to necessary level Open a tank stopper. Add liquid дс the marks "FULL". Never fill a tank above this mark.

Content of concentrated antifreeze in the applied solution has to make 50%.
If in your area the lowest expected air temperature of -35 °C or below, apply concentration antifreeze up to 60%, following the instructions given on an antifreeze container. When closing a stopper of a tank combine an arrow on a cover with an arrow on a tank, otherwise liquid leak is possible
