Pedal of coupling 1 (hand-operated transmission) 
The pedal of coupling serves for separation of the engine and transmission at start of the engine, a stop or gear shifting. Separation happens when pressing a pedal.

ATTENTION
Never you go, holding a leg on a coupling pedal. It can result in strong wear (damage) of coupling or to unexpected weakening of braking by the engine.
